About Jay
Jay Koganti is Founder & CEO of Anusama, the New York-based company building an enterprise causal intelligence platform: a layer on top of the existing enterprise stack that connects strategy, planning and execution across demand, pricing, margin, supply, cost and cash, so leaders can see what is changing, why, and what is likely to happen when they act. By combining causality, simulation and AI, the platform is designed to let decisions be tested for their consequences before a company commits to them.
He brings more than 26 years of experience leading and transforming complex global organisations, close to seventeen of them at The Estée Lauder Companies, where as Vice President, Supply Chain Centre of Excellence he led the end-to-end planning transformation, building next-generation enterprise planning capabilities and the operating model to support growth and value creation, alongside the company's broader digital transformation, new planning systems and new distribution centres.
A regular voice on supply chain strategy and decision intelligence, he has appeared on the Transform Talks podcast, Lokad TV and Supply Chain Management Review's planning roundtables, and writes on the convergence of AI, causality and enterprise planning. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Session Overview
We are getting dramatically better at forecasting, optimising and automating individual parts of the supply chain, but enterprises still lack a coherent representation of how decisions propagate across demand, supply, inventory, pricing, finance and enterprise value. As autonomous agents and continuous planning arrive, the question shifts from how fast a decision can be made to what model of cause and consequence the AI is reasoning against. This session traces the progression from forecast to causality to simulation to decision: why prediction alone is insufficient for intervention, how causal models could connect fragmented planning domains, and what an enterprise equivalent of a "world model" might look like, drawing on approaches emerging in autonomous vehicles, humanoid robotics and spatial computing.
