About Michael

Michael Ranft is IBP Global Director at Ansell, where he leads the evolution of the company's global Integrated Business Planning as part of the Global Plan leadership team — linking process, people and technology to drive an end-to-end planning and supply chain transformation. A chemical engineer by training, he built more than 25 years of supply chain capability across Unilever and the Pepsi Lipton joint venture, with European, African, Latin American, North American and global scope, most recently as Head of Supply Chain Europe for Pepsi Lipton International. His track record spans S&OP/IBP resets across six markets, the outsourcing of European supply planning, Kinaxis demand planning delivered to 750+ planners, and record service and stock improvements across South Africa and South-East Africa. Michael describes himself as a customer-service-centric supply chain leader who connects brilliant people, novel ideas and digital technologies — with South African Ubuntu at the core of how he builds intentionally diverse, high-performing teams.
