Search for AI supply chain conferences and the results split into two groups. One is the established events that have added AI tracks. The other is a growing set of standalone summits with AI in the name, unnamed speakers, and a venue listed as a city.

The honest finding: AI is a track, not an event
In 2026, the organisations with production agentic deployments are still a minority, and they are in demand as speakers. They go to the events that can put them in front of the right room, which remains the established circuit.
The practical consequence is that you should not choose a conference because it has AI in the title. Choose it on audience, seniority and format, then look at what its AI track actually contains. A well-run general supply chain conference with four strong agentic sessions beats a dedicated AI summit with twelve vendor pitches.

Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo, Barcelona
AI content: analyst-led, market-wide, research-framed.
The 2026 Barcelona edition ran an AI headline theme across seven role-based tracks, with sessions covering agentic commerce, AI's effect on the CPO role, and human-machine collaboration in planning, to an audience of over 2,000. The 2027 edition runs 24 to 26 May 2027 at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona.
What it does well: the widest view of the market, with analysts who look across hundreds of organisations. Useful when you need to know where the category is going rather than what one company did.
Limitation: analyst framing rather than deployment detail, a pass at €4,400 plus VAT for 2026 standard registration, and peer conversation left to hallway chance.
TFEST26, Berlin
AI content: practitioner sessions with named deploying organisations.
TFEST26 runs 1 and 2 December 2026 at the Colosseum Berlin. AI sessions on the agenda include "Agentic AI in Supply Chain: Separating Hype from Production-Ready Reality", "Digital Twins in Practice: 3 Real Deployments, 3 Honest ROI Assessments", "Procurement as the Reality Test: Why Human Judgment Matters in AI-Driven Supply Networks", and a hands-on workshop, "Vibe Coding the Future of Supply Chain: A Practical Workshop to Build Your Own SCM Tools".
The precedent is TFEST25, where Reginaldo Ecclissato, Chief Business Operations and Supply Chain Officer at Unilever, covered agentic AI running in customer service as an operating system rather than a pilot, and Ard Verboon, Chief Procurement Officer at Schneider Electric, ran a panel on the AI data foundation underneath procurement automation.
Limitation: no analyst sessions, Berlin-only with no virtual track, and a delegate tier capped at Director level and above, so it is not open to the whole team.
LogiMAT, Stuttgart
AI content: applied automation and intralogistics technology, demonstrated rather than discussed.
LogiMAT 2026 drew 69,856 trade visitors and 1,671 exhibitors, with the 2027 edition running 16 to 18 March 2027. The AI content here is embedded in working systems: warehouse robotics, vision, routing and scheduling.

BVL Supply Chain CX, Berlin
AI content: German-market applied cases, congress plus expo.
BVL Supply Chain CX runs 21 and 22 October 2026 at the Estrel Berlin, shortened to two days for this edition, pairing a senior congress with an expo of more than 120 exhibitors.
Limitation: heavily German in language and attendee base, and seniority is not screened the way a capped event screens it.
How to spot a commercial summit trading on the term
The number of events with "AI" and "supply chain" in the title has grown faster than the number of organisations with something to say about both. Three checks separate them.
Are speakers named with employer and role? A genuine agenda says "Chief Procurement Officer, Schneider Electric". A weak one says "Senior Supply Chain Executive, Global Manufacturer" or lists a speaker panel as "to be announced" six weeks out.
Is there a venue with a street address? Genuine events publish the building. Directory-generated and speculative events publish a city and a hotel to be confirmed.
Does the agenda name organisations that deployed, or vendors that sell? An agenda where every session is hosted by a technology provider is a lead-generation exercise with a stage. Vendor sessions can be excellent, and the tell is the ratio rather than the presence.
An event failing two of those three is selling delegate access to sponsors. That is a legitimate business, but it is not where you learn what a peer's agentic pilot cost.
What to ask an AI track before you book
The useful question in 2026 has changed. Two years ago it was what agentic AI could do. Now it is what it actually did, and which parts failed.
Ask the organiser whether any speaker is running an agentic system in production, and what they are permitted to say about cost and failure rate. Organisers who have done the work will tell you which sessions carry numbers. If nobody on the agenda has moved past pilot, the event will fill two days with capability description you could read.

Two dates are already fixed. Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo runs 24 to 26 May 2027 in Barcelona, and LogiMAT runs 16 to 18 March 2027 in Stuttgart. Most other 2027 programmes confirm between six and nine months ahead, so an autumn 2026 decision is realistic for the first half of 2027.
The likely direction is that dedicated AI supply chain events consolidate rather than multiply, as the novelty of the term fades and buyers start asking which speakers have production systems.
