Previously spoke at: TFEST25

Speaking at TFEST26: Monday, December 1 2026 at 10:30–10:50 on the Main Stage — “Orchestrating Global Scale & The Shift to Supply Chain "Enablement"”.

About Ilham

Ilham Smaali serves as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Essity, leading the newly established Supply Chain Enablement function focused on economies of scale in sourcing and fulfillment. She joined Essity in 2023 as Vice President Global Planning & Logistics before being appointed to the Executive Management Team. Ilham previously held senior positions in manufacturing, logistics, and planning at The Estée Lauder Companies, Nike, and Procter & Gamble, bringing broad experience across consumer goods and luxury sectors.

Session Overview

As multinational networks become increasingly complex, the traditional top-down supply chain model is evolving. At the end of 2025, global hygiene and health company Essity established a brand new "Supply Chain Enablement" function to drive economies of scale and standardise working methods across its decentralised production network spanning approximately 150 countries. Newly appointed CSCO Ilham Smaali unpacks what it truly means to shift from traditional supply chain management to an "enablement" mindset, drawing on her cross-industry experience leading global logistics and planning for brands like Nike, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Procter & Gamble.
