About Sarah
Sarah A. Gretter, Ph.D., is a strategy and innovation leader at Michigan State University, where she manages the Apple Developer Academy and Apple Manufacturing Academy in Detroit. She is especially interested in the space between possibility and practice: how organizations turn disruptive ideas into real systems, behaviors, and capabilities while preserving the human judgment and accumulated knowledge that technology cannot simply replace.
Her work spans AI, workforce development, organizational change, and cross-sector partnership, with a focus on how people and institutions adapt as expertise itself evolves. Sarah holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology & Educational Technology from Michigan State University and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. She is co-author of Design for Change in Higher Education (Johns Hopkins University Press).
